Installing apps on Android
Org apps are distributed here instead of the public Play Store, so Android needs one-time permission to install them.
- 1
Download the APK
Open the app page on your phone (scan the QR code from a desktop) and tap Download. Chrome may warn that the file type can harm your device — tap “Download anyway”. Our downloads are checksum-verified.
- 2
Allow installs from your browser
The first time, Android asks to allow installs from this source. Tap Settings → enable “Allow from this source” for your browser, then go back.
- 3
Install
Open the downloaded file from the notification shade or the Files app and tap Install. If Play Protect prompts, choose “Install anyway” — these builds are signed with the org certificate.
- 4
Updates
Installed apps check the store automatically and prompt you when a new version is available. Critical fixes may require the update before you can continue.
